BIOGRAPHY
I have always wanted to own my own gym and fitness studio and, at a very young age, decided to work as hard as I could to reach this goal. I pursued a degree in Kinesiology Sciences at the University of New Brunswick and the University of Calgary.
Thereafter, I went on to work as a personal trainer and instructor for World Health Club coaching running groups, teaching fit abs classes and doing one-on-one client training. Following my experience with WHC, I felt ready to work independently. Consequently, I began running boot camps and doing in-home personal training, which I am still doing today. In order to gain recognition and further advance my career, I decided to start competing.
This step was a new experience for me, but I still felt within my comfort zone as Ive always been a gym buff and have always followed a strict diet.
I first competed in April 2008 at the Derrick Brown Fame Prairies competition. I competed in the Bikini Model category in which I placed 2nd Runner-Up. Not only was I happy to place, but I also realized I had found yet another element of the fitness world that I thoroughly enjoyed. I was hooked! I immediately decided to compete again. In October I competed in FAME Nationals in Calgary in both the Bikini Model and Fitness Model categories. I had the time of my life.
I am very passionate about fitness and training and I shed that passion onto my clients so they are able to live a fit and healthy lifestyle to not only change their body but also leave them with a positive and energetic outlook on life.
I will continue building my fitness career in hopes to make a significant impact in the fitness industry.
